What is a LEF?
The purpose of the Leo Europa Forum (LEF) is to bring together Leos from all over Europe and the Mediterranean.
Every year, Leos from over 20 different countries attend the LEF, which lasts eight days (from Saturday to Saturday).
In addition to the LEF, every hosting country is organizing a Leo Europa Pre-Forum (LEPF) at the beginning of the year to offer a sneak peak of the hotel and the program.
At LEF we aim to exchange charity activity ideas and experiences on a European scale to strengthen the Leo movement and expand initiatives within and across Europe.
Moreover, several opportunities for personal and organizational development are being offered.
Last but not least, LEF is a great chance to get to know the landscape, culture and cuisine of the host country.

Good to know
Minimum Age
The minimum age for LEPF participants is 18. In order to participate, you have to turn 18 before January 28, 2022.
Covid-19 Safety Measures
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, a number of safety measures imposed by the government are currently in effect. You can find up-to-date information here.
We are expecting tighter regulations to take effect in the next couple of weeks/months. We have thus decided that a complete Covid-19 vaccination is a requirement to attend LEPF. As evidence of vaccination, all of the vaccines which have been authorised by the EMA or have successfully passed the evaluation process of the WHO are recognised.
Austrian weather in January
Average temperatures range between -2°C and +3°C, but it can get as cold as -10°C and as warm as +10°C. Make sure to bring warm winter clothes for LEPF and be prepared for snow, ice and rain.

Flughafen Wien Schwechat
A shuttle bus will pick you up from the airport and bring you directly to the hotel.
By Train
Hauptbahnhof Wien / Vienna Main Station
If you come to Vienna by train or are arrive a day early, a shuttle bus will pick you up from Vienna Main Station / Hauptbahnhof Wien on Friday.
By Car
Parking is available at the hotel. Prices will be provided in due time.
